It is illegal to park within 5m either side of a petrol station. You are advised not to park your car on the street at night, rather park at your hotel or accommodation car park. Rental cars in particular can be a target for crime if left on the street. Local parking restrictions should be adhered to, failure to comply will result in wheel clamping or your vehicle being towed away.
