No, the car hire company will only accept an original, official document. If you have lost or had your driving licence stolen before picking up your hire car, please get in touch with us ASAP.
Where possible, we can attempt to change the main driver name (if you are travelling in a group / party) to enable the rental to proceed otherwise we advise you cancel the booking to get a refund and avoid a no-show / refusal of car on collection. Check cancellation policy for terms as if you need to cancel within 24/48 hours of pick-up a cancellation fee will apply. Cancellation outside of this time will receive a full refund (where a deposit only was paid, you will forfeit this deposit)
Don’t forget, if you do change the main driver, the new driver needs to present all the required documentation when picking up the hire car.
