That's right, Rhinocarhire.com last night was awarded Best Car Hire Website 2010 at the prestigious Travolution Awards ceremony held at The Boiler House, Battersea Power Station on 28th September.  Being short listed for the award was a prize within itself but to walk away knowing that our industry peers had awarded Rhinocarhire.com as winners in the category of Best Car Hire Website is unbelievable.

World attention is often focused on the bloody conflict between Israel and Palestine. What is sometimes forgotten is the role these states play in a wider propaganda war between the US and the Arab world.  Living in Cyprus, a war-torn country which is now at an uneasy peace, it is easy to see how small countries are used as pawns on a diplomatic chessboard. Just as many European countries do not want a Cyprus solution which would allow Turkey entry into the EU, America has a vested interest in fighting for Israel while other Middle Eastern countries can use Palestine as a perfect example of their persecution.

Last week I went to the Limassol Wine Festival and in my opinion it is the best calendar event in Cyprus.
10 Euros gets you entry into the immaculately kept public gardens in which the Limassol Wine Festival is held. It also entitles you to one free bottle of table wine from the local producers. For a further Euro you can get a plastic amphora to fill up with free wine which is provided by the Limassol municipality.
However, it seems that they have become less generous in the amount of refills that they will give this year. The reason for that is probably the fault of the English.
