Luxury Accomodation in Italy - Don't Rule Out B&B

Hotels are the obvious choice of accommodation for international travelers, but those looking for a more personal experience should consider bed and breakfasts. The pricing is comparable if not cheaper at a B&B.

Innkeepers are passionate about their towns and enjoy pointing you to the best restaurants, shops, and attractions. There are misconceptions that you have to share bathrooms and that they have no amenities, but nearly all B&B rooms are ensuite and offer WiFi and other modern amenities that rival hotels. There is almost always a common area where you can lounge and meet interesting guests from around the world. Many innkeepers also serve free snacks and/or tea in the afternoon
