Only problem I

Only problem I have is that vehicle is not always exactly as described - was given a nissan note, when it was described as "VW Golf or similar". Need to be able to select high mpg cars for long journey's. Maybe add a catagory saying "select by MPG"

Rome Train Station Mini Guide

What is Rome Like?
Rome is a beautiful city retaining much of its architectural grandeur from Roman and renaissance times. There is so much to see and do there and that’s even before visiting the ‘country within a city’ – the Vatican. For everyone, but especially Catholics, no visit to Rome would be complete without a visit to St Peter’s Square and the basilica of the same name. Visit too, the Sistine Chapel with its iconic and stunning fresco. Rome also has the Colosseum, the massive arena in the centre of Rome where gladiatorial contests and chariot races took place. Spend some time too on one of the seven hills of the city and look down on living history.

Rome Vatican city St Peters Square

How do I get to Rome?
Many people fly there but just as many arrive at Termini Station from destinations all over Europe. With very few connections it’s possible to get from the UK to Rome via Paris or you can travel from virtually all major European cities. The train takes you right into the heart of the city and at the station you’ll be able to hire a car to explore it further.

Rome Termini Station

What is the Station Like?
The station was originally built in 1863 and opened by the Pope. The ravages of time and increasing passenger numbers took their toll and the new station building was opened in 1950. The station is very busy and has 29 platforms making it one of the largest in Europe. Over 150m passengers passed through last year making it one of the busiest too. You’d be surprised at the facilities there including three places to eat, several shops in an arcade setting, free Wi-Fi hotspots and a foreign exchange facility. If you need assistance with mobility, the staff are happy to help as long as you’ve given sufficient notice.
