Customer questions about Naples Airport car hire
Hi, I would like to rent a Mondeo estate or equivalent from Naples airport from Sat 22 June to Sun 7 July. Your rate is attractive but I need to know who the underlying rental agency would be and if they are based within the airport as I have young toddlers so moving around with all our luggage is tricky
Hi, thanks for getting in touch, you should be able to see the rental agent name / logo on the quote page, but I can advise if you can let me know the car / rate you are looking at? You can also filter by supplier location using the filters on the left of your screen. You can filter to show only those rental agents based in Naples airport terminal. Please let me know if you need any further assistance.
I have to pick up the car in Naples airport, can you tell me where is the desk ,is it in the airport or outside?
Hello, the rental agent location is shown for each car at the quote stage. You can filter results to show only cars from agents in the terminal or outside of the terminal to suit you needs. It's generally a little cheaper to use an offsite agent at Naples Airport, however the in terminal suppliers are more convenient.
Just wanted to confirm insurance that is included. Is the damage reduction over and above quoted price?
Hello, standard insurance is included in the rate however there is an excess in the event of a claim, it varies by supplier / car type but is typically around 1,000 EUR. You will be offered our Excess Deposit insurance once you have selected a car and can decide if you would like to include this in your rental at that stage.

Naples Airport Mini Guide
Why do People Visit Naples?
Naples has its good and bad sides. The city is overcrowded and so are the roads with travel from the airport taking an eternity at peak times. At its best, Naples is one of the most beautiful of Italian cities, nestled around the stunning Bay of Naples with views out over to the island of Capri. Naples is also looked down upon by Mount Vesuvius, culprit of the destruction of Pompeii and Herculaneum. There is a lot to see and do in the city as well as regular sampling of the delicious Neapolitan ice cream and pizzas.
How do I get to Naples?
Nearly four miles away but at least 30 minutes by road is Capodichino Airport which serves the city. With dozens of flights from all over Europe and easyJet providing low cost flights from several UK
airports such as Bristol
, flying to Naples couldn’t be easier. Whilst bus and car journeys will take you along the beautiful coastal route along the Bay of Naples, you will find that you have plenty of time to look at the view whilst stuck in traffic. A metro line station is due to open this winter which will ease congestion and provide a quicker means of access to the city centre.
What is the Airport Like?
The airport has two terminals with Terminal 1 being used for domestic and scheduled international flights including those by budget carriers whilst Terminal 2 is used by charter airlines. Planes dock around a semi-circular concourse before offloading passengers into the terminal building.
What Should I Expect When I Arrive at Naples Airport?
At Terminal 1 you’ll be offloaded into the terminal via air bridges before showing your passports and heading down to the lower level to collect your suitcases. The ground floor arrivals area houses the customer services desk where the informative staff are eager to help. There’s a branch of a bank plus an outlet of Travelex should you need currency or for quick cash use one of the many ATMs. To find the car hire companies, you’ll have to walk around to the right hand wing of the lower level and you’ll find the desks on the right hand wall. Buses and taxis are found immediately outside the terminal building.
What can I Expect on the day of my Departure?
Around twenty shops await your euros on the day of your departure so get your bags checked in quickly then browse through fashion, accessories, jewellery, books and gifts. There are three restaurants at the airport serving anything from Italian specialities to delicious pizzas as well as numerous cafes and snack bars, both before and after security. Wi-Fi is also available at the airport should you have your laptop or netbook to hand. The service is free, but ask the information desk staff for a voucher to get started.
