Can I get to the City Easily?
Niagara Air Bus or Airways Transit offer shuttle bus services into the city and it’s just a 20 minute journey. Hamilton Street Railways also have a bus service from the airport to the downtown area and their buses and trains will get you around the city, if you don’t have a car.
What’s at the Airport for me?
The tourism and airport information desks in the terminal building are always a good place to start. They can book hotels and tell you about local attractions and the transport system. There are ATMs available around the terminal if you need some extra dollars. If you get hungry you can have a coffee and doughnut at Tim Horton’s or for something a bit more substantial head for Coyote Jack’s Bar and Grill. For any last minute items you forgot to pack, you can buy them at On The Fly retail and convenience store and treat yourself to a fragrance from Peace Haven Duty Free.
What if I Need Extra Help?
The airport is designed to be wheelchair accessible and assistance is available for passengers with reduced mobility.
Where Can I Stay Nearby?
The 2 star Residence and Conference Centre Hamilton is 8.5 km from the airport and one of the nearest hotels. It has suites with a kitchenette and outdoor barbeque facilities. You can make use of the gym or movie room whilst you are there. Hamilton is 20 minutes drive away.

- Hamilton has been described as an airport treading water for it is awaiting the decision on the building of nearby Pickering Airport before deciding on future expansion plans. Both airports would be rivals for the overspill from Toronto Airport.
