Las Vegas Treasure Island Mini Guide
Where is the Treasure Island Resort?
You can’t miss the Treasure Island Resort or ‘TI’ as it is now called, at 3300 Las Vegas Boulevard South as, unlike the other pale but glitzy hotels, this one is painted in bold and brash maroon!
How do I get to the Treasure Island?
Several major British airlines and operators fly into Las Vegas and McCarran Airport to deliver their excited passengers to the hotels of The Strip. Thomas Cook operates charter flights whilst Virgin and BA operate scheduled flights.
What is the Hotel Like?
Originally themed as a Treasure Island with pirate battles and entertainment geared towards its younger clients, the hotel rebranded itself as ‘TI’ and upgraded its theme to a more adult orientated one with the new show, ‘Sirens of TI’. This outdoor spectacle forms the main entertainment show of the hotel.
What is Dining Like at TI?
Whilst still achieving perfection, the dining at TI isn’t as upmarket as other Strip hotels. The two top restaurants are Phil’s Italian Steak House and the Isla Mexican Kitchen. Below these, you have a range of dining including café and buffet plus a take away for food on the go.
Can I Shop There?
Shopping is wonderful at TI with a pedestrian walkway to the Fashion Show Shopping Mall as well as its own TI shopping arcade.
How Will I be Entertained at TI?
You have the Sirens of TI outdoor show seven nights a week as well as Mystere, voted the top show on The Strip several years running. The show is the only one by Cirque du Soleil in a hotel not owned by MGM. Entertainers do regular spots in the smaller venues with Whoopi Goldberg currently in residence. During the day, the hotel encourages poolside socialising with 25 person hot tubs where you’ll be served tropical sorbets whilst soothing your cares away in the company of new friends.
Can you rent a car from your hotel in Vegas?
Yes, car rental is available directly from the following hotels in Vegas;
Treasure Island is one of the biggest and most famous hotels in the incredible city of Las Vegas. The hotel is in a prime spot in the midst of all the action and is connected by tram to the nearby
Mirage Hotel as well as being only a short walkway away from the fashion show mall.
In a hotel this amazing there is rarely any need to leave with many restaurants, bars and swimming pools located in the property, but should you wish to explore the rest of The Strip, car hire in Treasure Island is cheap and reliable.
If you're
hiring a car in United States for the first time, you'll be spoilt for choice in Las Vegas as all the leading car rental companies are based here and will often deliver to your hotel.
