How do I get There?
At the present time, 26 airlines use the airport mostly flying into destinations in the Middle East. Flights to parts of Africa and India are also available. It is the number one Cargo hub in the region.
How do I get to the City?
You can take an airport bus into the city, these leave from outside the terminal building. Taxis are another option or you can drive – Sharjah city is just minutes away and Dubai takes 15 minutes avoiding rush hour.
What is at the Airport?
You will find a bank on the first floor in the main dome and ATMs are conveniently located around the terminal. There are three money exchange centres if you need to change your currency. To book an excursion or hotel, go to SATA travel agency on the first floor. The executive lounge is available to first and business class ticket holders only, but if you just wish to use the internet, there is a business centre in the terminal for a small fee. In departures you can browse the special offers at the Dufry duty free shop. In arrivals there is a convenience store and florist and before check-in, a pharmacy for any little medical emergencies.
