How do I get to the Airport?

The nearest railway station is at Montfalcone and Pieris and buses take passengers from the airport to the stations. The Apt Gorizia bus company operate a number of routes from the airport to Trieste, Gorizia, Grado and Monfalcone and it’s only 30 minutes to Trieste city centre. Tickets can be purchased from the ticket machine in the arrivals hall. Taxis are another convenient option and can be hired from the rank outside the airport.
The desks of the car hire companies are inside the arrivals hall and the car park for collection just outside the terminal and along to the right. Queues can develop at the desks and it’s often worth sending the driver on ahead whilst other group members wait at the luggage carousels. Access from the airport to the A4
Venice to Trieste motorway is gained easily by way of the dual carriageway from the airport.
