Canada’s 4th biggest airport, Calgary International (YYC) is 17 km northeast of Downtown Calgary. The airport serves over 60 destinations with non-stop flights, including cities in Canada, America, the Caribbean (Barbados
and more), Europe (UK
and more) and East Asia (Japan
etc). More than 12 million travellers pass through the airport each year. Development is on-going, with a 4th runway being built, which is likely to be in service by 2014.

You will find the Rental Car companies on the departures level across the roadway from the main terminal building. It can be accessed by the elevator lobby across the arrivals roadway. As there is no train station at the airport, bus number 57 connects to Whitehorn Station, which is around 5km south of the airport.

For a full menu there is also Cheers Bar and Restaurant, based on the famous TV series “Cheers” or for an oriental flavour, Manchu Wok has a tantalizing menu.

Wi-Fi, currency exchange and ATMs are available at the airport. Four kiosks are located on the arrivals level and are great meeting points for organisations or groups. Each unit has a lockable storage unit, seating and a banner display area. There are 2 executive lounges, for that extra comfort.
