How do I get to the Town?
There is no public transport from the airport to the town. Airport shuttles are an economical way to get into the town, although taxis are also available. Renting a hire car is very practical there as you can really explore the island.
What Facilities Does the Airport Have?
As soon as you get there, head for the Visitor Centre in the terminal, where you can find out information about the town and collect some maps and brochures. They also have displays featuring local attractions and souvenirs. If you need to check on your emails, you can use the airport Wi-Fi (for a fee) or use the business centre which has facilities for fax and internet.
What About Shopping and Eating?
You can buy books and newspapers or that last minute present at the airport gift shop. If you are hungry go to Budley’s Restaurant, they have light meals and sandwiches to keep you going. Vending machines are situated in the terminal should the restaurant be closed. You can buy a sandwich to take onboard the aircraft at the snack bar after security.
