Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield is located in South Yorkshire, England and built on the original base for RAF Finningley. From the airport it is 5.6km to the city of Doncaster and Sheffield
is 29km away. It is named after the fictional outlaw, who lived nearby in Sherwood Forest. The airport took the brunt of controversy over flying and carbon emissions as it was constructed and opened at the height of calls over whether air travel was necessary.

There is a regular bus service to Doncaster, but no direct shuttle service. The only direct route to both Doncaster and Sheffield at present is via taxi or your Rhino hire car.
