Split into domestic and international terminals on different sites, make sure you head for the correct one! Getting There
As a major hub, 36 airlines serve Brisbane. It’s a major airport for Virgin Australia and is served by budget airlines; Jetstar and Pacific Blue. New routes are being planned to Japan and to China with Air Japan looking to reinstate flights to Tokyo.

How Do I Get to my Next Destination?
There’s a train station integrated into the airport and the Airtrain, leaves every 15 minutes at peak times for a 22 minute journey into the city. Bus company Coachtrans Australia run a number of routes to the city, the port and the Gold and Sunshine Coasts which include pre-booked collection and drop off at your door as well as major accommodation stops. Taxis are readily available at the airport and accessed immediately outside the terminal building. Driving yourself is a good option as there are good road links down Moreton Drive to the Gateway Motorway and Airport Drive to Southern Cross Way. The car hire company desks are located in various parts of the arrivals hall immediately after baggage reclaim. It’s definitely worth sending a driver on ahead to locate the correct desk and to start queuing in such a busy airport.
