London Luton Airport is located 65 km north of London and is just 3 km from Luton. It is the 5th busiest airport in the UK and the 4th biggest serving the London area. It was previously named Luton International Airport and renamed in 1990, to emphasise the airports proximity to the capital.

How can I get There?
There are 10 charter and budget airlines operating out of London Luton Airport at present. They fly to 90 destinations in Europe including the major cities and holiday resorts, some routes are seasonal. There is a scheduled service to Israel also.

Is it Easy to get to the City?
If you want to travel into London, take Green Line Coaches 757 express service which takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes.. The airport has its own rail station Luton Airport Parkway, from there you can be at London’s St Pancras Station in 25 minutes. If you’d like to drive, the airport is close to the M1 motorway, head south towards London or Luton is just minutes away. If you are feeling healthy, try a delicious smoothie at Pip and a refreshing salad at The Real Food Company. For the not so virtuous, choose from 16 varieties of doughnuts at Krispy Kreme. Est Caffe is the only table service restaurant at the airport and has an extensive menu.

What if I Need Special Assistance?
There is a special assistance help desk in the airport and a designated waiting area. An induction loop is fitted at the check-in desks and customer service desks, for the hearing impaired. Free CDs are available on request, detailing all the facilities available for passengers with disabilities.
