Kastrup Mini Guide

Kastrup car hire is mostly rented by flyers who have come into Copenhagen Kastrup Airport. Because of this, most of the accommodation in Kastrup is made up of airport hotels. There is the Hilton Hotel Copenhagen, a recommended five star facility as you always know what you are getting with Hilton. The hotel is only a ten minute walk away from the city centre and is also connected to Terminal 3.

There is a covered path which you can use to get there which is more than handy when the weather is bad. Slightly less expensive is the four Star Quality Airport Hotel Dan. Located at Kastruplundgade 15 it has a good breakfast on offer and is clean and well appointed. When you get to Kastrup our staff can point you in the right direction if you are heading to one of these hotels. In terms of attractions the beautiful Tivoli Gardens are not far away from Kastrup so you can enjoy some lovely fresh air.

Kastrup is home to the offices of popular Scandinavian airline Scandinavian Airlines System, otherwise known as SAS. This suburb of Copenhagen is located on the east coast of Amager.  Originally a beach park, Amager later fell into disrepair, earning a rather unattractive nickname from the locals.
