Read our Frequently Asked Questions

Split has so much to see and do in the city and if you’re a footie fan you must see a match with the local team Hadjuk Split. They have fanatical followers called the Torcida so be careful where you sit in the ground.

If you’ve hired a car you can spend the day on the beach used most by the locals – Bacvice. It gets crowded in summer but the water is clear and calm. Returning to the city, if you’re hungry, try the local delicacy ‘soparnik’ - mashed swede rolled in baked dough – it tastes much better than it sounds!
