Pula Airport Mini Guide

Tell me About the Airport
Pula Airport is located on the Adriatic Coast in Croatia. Due to its location and technical facilities, it can be used as an alternate airport for some airports in Italy and Slovenia. It attracts private jets also, as the Brijuni Islands are popular with the wealthy for their seclusion and for sailing on their private yachts. This popularity started as the former Yugoslavian President Josip Broz Tito had his summer residence there.

Pula Airport is convenient for travel to several countries due to its location, however if you’re staying in Pula, collect a hire car from there and use it to explore more of the peninsula on which the city stands. A popular destination is the Brijuni Islands which have been the holiday choice of royalty and celebrities over the years.

Take the ferry from Fazana and see the fabulous residences including that of Yugoslavia’s infamous dictator Tito. Whilst there you should try some of the region’s famous truffle products or maybe some honey or mistletoe flavoured rakija, an aniseed based drink.
