How do I get There?
Most of the flights from the airport are to holiday resorts in Europe, plus a few of the major cities. These are operated mostly by charter and budget airlines and routes change according to season. There are a few domestic services within the UK. To travel beyond Europe, you would have to join a connecting flight in
Amsterdam or
Brussels.
Can I get to the City Easily?
The area is well served by public transport, you can travel by bus to the cities of Bradford (737 and 747) and Leeds (757) easily. You can also get to
Harrogate on the 767 service. Both Leeds and Bradford have rail stations for travelling outside the city. Coach services are also available from the city centres. Driving to both cities is easy, Bradford is just 15 minutes by car and Leeds takes 22 minutes, both are great bases for exploring the Yorkshire region by car.
