Customer questions about Heathrow Terminal 2 car hire

Whilst scouring the web for the best rates, I was sure that yours included an additional driver. I was just about to enter my credit card details and read that you want an additional 10 GBP per day on top. Please confirm

Hi, some of our rentals include a free additional driver (this is clearly stated), however it may be that you are seeing the price for a second additional driver. If one is included then you will not be charged for the first additional driver, however you will be charged £10 per day for any subsequent additional driver suggested. Hopefully that clears it up and to confirm, you will get 1 additional driver free of charge.

Please would you quote for a Rav 4, period 28th June 8am to 13th July 6pm at LHR T2 fully inclusive with no excess. Does this car qualify for the 40% discount. If another driver, is 21yrs of age OK - he has had his driving licence for three years.

Hello, I can quote for you here for sure, can you please just confirm your country of residence. Regarding the additional driver, we will need to check that the rental agent permits a driver of 21, most do, but some are min 23. There would also be a young driver surcharge applied here which varies from £15-20 per day dependent on the rental agent, but I will check and advise the best option for you now.

As Heathrow Airport’s newest terminal, named for the Queen, Terminal Two has probably the most comprehensive facilities of any airport in Europe. Only half of it is currently built with the second phase due to be finished in the early 2020s. Ultimately over 30m passengers are expected to use the new terminal.
Arriving passengers will enter the terminal on Level 1 after passing through passport control. Ahead of you are eight fully automated, state of the art baggage reclaim carousels and beyond them the access to the arrivals hall. First you’ll see World Duty Free on your left where you’ll be able to buy discounted gifts on arrival saving you having to carry them from departures at your airport of origin.
Once in the public area of the arrivals hall, WH Smith and Boots Chemist will be on your right whilst if you are in need of refreshment you’ll need to head left to the end of the hall to find M & S Food as well as Caffe Nero. If you need any information about the terminal or indeed any information about London and the UK, all you need will be found in the information circle next to the Excess Baggage Company.
Those who aren’t in a hurry can use the facilities of the Arrivals Lounge or for those with a little more cash, the Plaza Premium Lounge may be more salubrious. Don’t forget that from the moment you’re in the terminal, you can access free Wi-Fi at the network name _Heathrow Wi-Fi.
To leave the airport, take the lift or escalator down to the ground floor level. Car hire isn’t in the terminal, instead you’ll need to take a shuttle bus to the agents’ offices. To the right in the second row of bus stops you’ll find the bus for on airport car hire – this includes rentals from Avis, Budget, Europcar, National, Alamo, Enterprise and Hertz. For car hire off site, go to the middle of the last row of bus lanes and get the bus for Dollar, Thrifty and Sixt rentals.
