Where is the Mandalay Bay?
You’ll find the hotel at the lower end of The Strip at 3950 Las Vegas Boulevard South. It’s part of a complex with its sister hotels, the Excalibur
and the Luxor
to which it is linked by a sky corridor shopping gallery which also has several restaurants.
What’s the Best Way to Get to the Mandalay Bay?
The easiest access is to take a taxi or hire a car for the drive from McCarran International, the airport that serves Las Vegas. It’s around a twenty minute journey to the hotel which in the Las Vegas sun will be instantly recognisable by the glow from its gold leaf coated windows.
What’s the Hotel Like?
It’s another luxury hotel, this time based around a tropical theme. The building is sleek and modern and with windows coated in gold leaf; the height of opulence. Four floors of the building have been turned over to the super luxury Four Seasons Hotel.
What Can I do During the Day?
The hotel has a fabulous pool area voted the best in Las Vegas, covering eleven acres and called ‘The Beach’. There’s also the fabulous Saltwater Aquarium and the walk through Shark Reef Aquarium, the third largest of its type in the US.
