is Queen Alia and was the arrival point for over 8.4 million visitors in 2018. The airport was built in 1983 and was named in memory of the late Queen Alia who died six years earlier. The airport has three terminals two of which are passenger and one is for cargo. Situated 32 kilometres from the city it offers good access to the capital with main roads entering and exiting the buildings.
The airport handles many flights both domestic and international and the airport is the main Hub for national airline Royal Jordanian Airlines. The airport also caters as a main route destination for Gulf Air, Jazeera Airways and Jordan Aviation.
