and the ski resorts of the Italian Alps. Parking is easy at the airport with 5,000 spaces divided into short term and covered and uncovered long term parking.
The airport is served by the budget airlines of many countries but the largest carrier is Ryanair with flights to and from nearly 70 airports Europe-wide. Ryanair operate a base in Bergamo Airport keeping many of their planes there. In fact it's one of Ryanair's biggest.
Getting to your Destination From the Airport
There is a shuttle bus that operates every 30 minutes from the airport to Bergamo railway station for onward journeys. A number of bus companies operate routes from the airport to Bergamo and some, less frequently to Milan itself. It is a very busy airport so be aware that unless you are quickly through controls, you may well have to queue, sending a party member through as soon as possible often helps you get away sooner.

There are banking facilities available in the arrivals public area and ATMs dotted around the airport in both arrivals and departures. In the departures area basic post office facilities are available for last minute postcards.
