From the airport it is only a short ten minute drive to the actual town centre. If you wish to go to one of the town's family attractions beforehand you can visit Aqua Park Junior which is on the road heading towards Bordeaux. The park is open daily and has an impressive four swimming pools all with slides and fun water toys for youngsters. Not only are there water activities but you can also choose some other outdoor activities there such as volleyball, mini golf, motor biking, quad biking and mountain biking.
A well known local cultural attraction is the Bergerac Tobacco Museum which is located in the Peryrarede House. The 1950s museum has many pieces and information relating to the town's history, and also four main rooms for their exhibits such as tobacco and painting, craftsmanship and a room discussing and showing the social history of the area.
In the centre of the city is the 17th century Museum of Religious Art. Inside, guests can view paintings and sculptures relating to religion, with the well known Pierre de Lauzerte being placed within the museum.
