Ealing has come a long way since its origins as a rural village in Middlesex and is now one of the main residential areas of West London. The railway station of Charing Cross and London city centre are not far away with car hire in Ealing.
Ealing is also a cultural hub within England for its film studios which are the oldest in the world and have produced many fine comedies such as Notting Hill. Much of the growth of Ealing into a modern Victorian Suburb was initially fuelled by the arrival of the Great Western main Line railway station.
