Covering an area of 3470 acres, and containing three runways is Fairbanks Airport. The airport provides flights to international and domestic destination and is 2007 handled 898,000 passengers.
There is one terminal on site that handles both arrivals and departures, however it has been divided into seven gates at the southern west area of the building.
Airlines serving the airport include Condor Airlines, Era Aviation, Japan Airlines, Thomas Cook Airlines, Wright Air Service and Everts Air.

During winter the outdoor hot springs get very popular due to the presence of the Northern Lights that can be seen in the evening. Although are only available for those over 18 years old.
The Aurora Ice Museum is an attraction for all ages. Inside guests can find ice carvings by Steve Brice such as a Polar Bear Bedroom.
Other attractions include The Alaska House Art Gallery on Cushman Street. Within the old log house is a range of arts from Alaskan artists. Guests can find many arts such as paintings, hand made jewelry, carvings and fabric art and downstairs are Eskimo artifacts
