Atlanta is the state Capital of Georgia. The land comprising of this great city was once a Native American village called “Standing Peachtree”. Sold by the Cherokee Indians to settlers in 1822. The city itself is steeped in American history and has seen so much change in past years.
Atlanta is separated by several very distinct districts, eachoffering a different flavour to what was and still is a city full of historic value. By visiting one of its many museums and soaking up the culture which surround this city, will bring you closer to understanding why the residents and visitors alike love this city. There is much to do in Atlanta, offering venues where you can enjoy the sounds of the Metropolitan Symphony orchestra, amongst others. Or stop at one of the very lively bars, to enjoy the local bands and dance the night away. You can visit one of the shopping malls, and maybe pick up a bargain, or souvenir of your stay. The restaurants here are second to none, where you will find something for everyone’s pallet. The nightlife is very vibrant and offers music and entertainment for you to relax and enjoy.
