Almeria airport is located in south eastern corner of Spain and is 10 kilometres from the city centre of Almeria in the province of the same name.

The arrivals and departures are both located on the ground floor where there is also a terrace which looks out on to the runway. Departures has 17 check in desks as well as duty free shopping and places to get refreshments and arrivals has four different baggage reclaim areas even though the arrivals hall is quite small.
Air Berlin, bmibaby, Easyjet, Luxair, First Choice Airways and Ryanair are some of the main international airlines to use Almeria while Spainair, Iberia and Air Europa offer many of the domestic flights to parts of Spain such as Madrid and Barcelona.
If you are coming to Almeria from England, Ryanair goes there from Dublin and London Stansted, Monarch from Birmingham, Luton and Manchester, Easyjet from London Gatwick, and Jet from Leeds.
While there are modestly priced buses which take you to the city centre from the airport, these only come every 45 minutes and make a lot of stops on the way, while taxis are quite expensive.
Using Rhino Car Hire you can choose from a range of cars supplied by reliable names such as Avis and Europcar for excellent prices.
You can get to Almeria airport by following the signposts for the A7, otherwise known as the "Motorway of the Mediterranean", along the AL-17 dual carriageway. The A7 will take you to many of Spain’s prominent cities.
Parking at Almeria used to be free but now you have to pay to use one of around 320 spaces. Rates start at just under 50 cents and go up to a 10 Euros (approximately) daily maximum for up to four days.
