The beautiful coastal city of Albufeira is a leading tourist resort in Portugal with a plethora of hotels, apartments, restaurants, cafes and bars. It has two main beaches, an attractive marina and a golf course. There are two main tourist areas, Areias de São João which is known locally as ‘The Strip’ and has a host of nightclubs and bars and then there is the more sedate Old Town which is more traditional.
Travelling around by car is a great way to see the local area and when booking your Albufeira car rental we suggest giving some thought to opting for a vehicle with air conditioning as temperatures can be very high in the summer season especially.
