The Airport
Milan Linate Airport is less than 5 miles from Milan city centre which is easily accessible by road. 8.3 million passengers used Linate, Milan’s second largest airport, last year. Its proximity to the city makes it a favourite for domestic and short haul international passengers. Parking is very well organised there with 5,000 spaces of which 4,000 are undercover. Getting to the Airport
18 airlines use the airport for routes to Milan with the main carriers being Alitalia for domestic flights and Meridiana Fly for budget international flights.  Most flights are internal or from Western and Northern Europe.

From the Airport to Your Next Destination
The airport is on the SP14 Rivoltana highway and connects directly with the city centre along the Viale Forlanini. It’s also not far from the A4 Turin to Venice motorway and the A7 routes to Bologna and Genoa. From the airport, a coach shuttle can take you to Rho-Fiera and central Milan whilst a bus connection will take you to San Babita and the railway station at Porta Vittoria. Those who have pre-booked car hire can find the car hire desks easily in the arrivals public area, immediately after customs. You would be well advised to get a party member to go through to begin queuing at peak times.

There is a public information desk in the arrivals/departures public area as well as a tourism office which can help with hotel booking and other travel related questions.

Facilities
A branch of Banca Popolare di Milano can be found in the airport in the arrivals public area and a number of ATMs operated by Deutsche Bank can be found in the arrivals and departures public area. There is also a post office for those last minute postcards or business mail.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the airport and business facilities, including the use of conference rooms are available.

There is a chapel in arrivals for those that need spiritual refreshment after their flight.

First Aid provision is excellent with an airport clinic and pharmacy available in arrivals.

It's Milan - Surely There Must be Lots of Shops!
The range of shops at Milan Linate is extensive. Many designer labels and Milan fashion houses are represented in ladies’ and men’s clothing. In addition there are several accessory shops selling designer watches, sunglasses and jewellery. After security there are the expected duty free alcohol and tobacco shops together with a local produce shop and newsagent.

Try out Some Italian Food
Food facilities are very good with a range of eating options. Ciao and the Gourmet House offer a la carte meals in comfortable surroundings whilst after security there is a wide range of fast food outlets including McDonalds, Pizza Chef and Panini Giusto along with a plethora of coffee shops and snack outlets.

Extra Assistance
Milan Linate have provided extensive facilities for the disabled including braille instructions and a raised track to guide the partially sighted through the airport. The services of the Sala Amica are provided free of charge to help passengers and a lift is available to board them. It is always recommendable to inform your airline before travelling so that necessary steps can be taken to assist you. The airport conforms to EU law on disability provision.
