How do I get to Dusseldorf?
Dusseldorf is accessible by three airports, Dusseldorf International, the closest, followed by Koln Bonn Airport an hour away and finally, the city’s airport for budget carriers, Weeze Airport. Many flights arrive there each day from Europe and Turkey including several from Ryanair including routes from the UK. Whilst by car the airport is ninety minutes from Dusseldorf, there is quicker access between the airport and city using the Deutsch Bahn train. A shuttle bus takes you from the airport to the nearest station for the trip. Car hire is another good option as it allows for independent exploration of the region during your stay.

Whilst limited, there is enough to keep you occupied as you wait for your return flight, especially as it often takes some while to get checked in and through security at peak times.
