Annecy is an extremely picturesque part of France and it is worth taking a stroll through the city to see some of its landmarks. These include roads such as the Rue Sainte-Claire with its has romantic arches, the church of Saint-Maurice which was built in eccentric Gothic 18th century style and the Pont des Amores – lover’s bridge –built more recently.

Annecy is served by the E712 road, which joins the A41. There are also a number of D roads going through the city including the D41, the D129 and the D909. 
A good time to visit Annecy is during the international animated film festival which is held there in June.
