Kastrup is the location of the main Denmark airport. Customers who want to visit Copenhagen will fly into this suburb which is located on the east coast of Amager. The airport is also the site for many Danish Aviation companies as Tranasvia Denmark and Scandinavian Airlines Systems both have their head offices in Kastrup.

There is the Hilton Hotel Copenhagen, a recommended five star facility as you always know what you are getting with Hilton. The hotel is only a ten minute walk away from the city centre and is also connected to Terminal 3.
There is a covered path which you can use to get there which is more than handy when the weather is bad. Slightly less expensive is the four Star Quality Airport Hotel Dan. Located at Kastruplundgade 15 it has a good breakfast on offer and is clean and well appointed.

In terms of attractions the beautiful Tivoli Gardens are not far away from Kastrup so you can enjoy some lovely fresh air.
Kastrup is home to the offices of popular Scandinavian airline Scandinavian Airlines System, otherwise known as SAS. This suburb of Copenhagen is located on the east coast of Amager. Originally a beach park, Amager later fell into disrepair, earning a rather unattractive nickname from the locals.
