How can I get There?
There are 38 airlines flying into the airport from destinations worldwide. It is an airport hub allowing connections all over the world and an alternative to using the neighbouring Dubai International Airport

From just outside the terminal, you can take the 901 bus into the city, it runs every 40 minutes and takes around 75 minutes to get to the city centre. If you have hired a car it is an easy drive: take the airport highway 33 and then route 2 or 8 into the city. To get to Dubai
, Etihad Airways offers a coach service from the airport, it takes around 75 minutes.
What is There at the Airport?
When you arrive at the airport, you can visit the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority office in Terminal 1, for more information about the city. To keep in touch, use the free Wi-Fi service or the internet kiosks in the terminal and if you need to make a call, buy a phone card from Du or Etisalat. Many banks have branches at the airport including the National Bank of Abu Dhabi where you will also find ATMs. You can change your currency at the Travelex offices in each terminal. If you have hired a car, you will find the car rental offices at the Skypark parking area. Should you be in transit or departing the airport for extra comfort and to freshen up, you can book into one of the 4 lounges available. If you are travelling first class with Etihad Airways, you will be lucky enough to use their Diamond Lounge with Six Senses Spa.
What if I am Hungry?
Whatever your taste you will find something good to eat at the airport. You can have a snack at one of the 6 coffee shops or grab some fast food at Burger King or Negroni Pizza. Can I go Shopping?
Yes, there are many shops inside Terminal 1 and 3 and all are open 24 hours. You can find names such as Jimmy Choo and Bulgari there. There is something for everyone, if you have the cash! There are over 10 duty free outlets too, featuring the best in middle eastern and international brands whether you would like a new Rolex from Fine Watches or just a souvenir from Souk. Two pharmacies are available in the terminal should you need extra toiletries or sun cream. You can also buy magazines and movies for your journey.

In Terminal 1 you can find the Airport Hotel, it is especially designed for passengers in transit and has basic facilities.
