Ibiza is abuzz with young holidaymakers who like to party and in summer Ibiza is the party capital of the world.
Majorca is a favorite place for many as it is a little more relaxed and life on the island is more inclined to the type of relaxing holiday that people want. Menorca is also a very popular place and Formentera is quieter than the other islands.
The Canary Islands is comprised of seven islands of which Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote are the most popular. The other islands of La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro have not had as many tourists.
On the mainland and in the cities there is the religious town of Santiago de Compestela which attracts pilgrams to the famous sites that are found there.

Valencia is a coastal town that is also very popular for tourists. The town is home of the famous Paella and there are many top places of interest to visit such as the magnificent central market.
There is also popular places within the main part of the peninsula with the Alhambra in Granada being Spains most popular attraction. Other places have distinctive charm such as Oviedo where the Casca Antigua is a historic part of the town and at the weekend is the main place to go out.
