Who Travels to San Jose?
It’s primarily a tourist resort and has a population of around 70,000. There are thousands of hotel rooms in the town for people who come to surf the clean waves that break over the southern tip of Baja California. Many also come here to experience the barren beauty of the countryside stretching back up towards the US. You’ll also be able to whale and dolphin watch on boat trips from the city and see some of the world’s endangered species.
How Easy is it to get to Los Cabos Airport?
From many Canadian and west coast American airports, getting to Los Cabos is easy. There are direct flights each day from many of the cities including Los Angeles
and more. Travellers from Europe and the UK
will need to connect at Salt Lake City, Toronto, Denver or Los Angeles to continue their journey and should consider each on the basis of cost and convenience.
What is the Airport Like?
It’s a big and busy airport with expansion work continuing to build a fourth terminal due to open this autumn. At the moment the three terminals offer a wide range of facilities including international fashion shops, local fashions, gifts and jewellery. There are plenty of restaurants to eat at including a traditional Mexican restaurant, a fast food outlet and a café serving light hot and cold snacks. You’ll find banking facilities as well as a small post office, Wi-Fi internet connections and VIP and business lounges.
