Can I get to the City Easily?
The Eurobus 16 leaves the airport every 10-15 minutes during the day and takes you into the city. Taxis are available or it is a 15 minute drive down the A1, if you have hired a car.
What Facilities Does the Airport Have?
It is a small airport but has all the basics you need. There are 3 ATMs if you get stuck for Euros and there is free Wi-Fi if you want to surf the internet whilst you wait for your flight. What can I see Nearby?
The city of Luxembourg is in a unique location, high on a cliff and overlooking the rivers. You can visit the gothic cathedral of Notre Dame and explore the cobbled streets around the Grand Ducal Palace. Visit the Luxembourg City History Museum to find out more about the city and go underground to the Bock Casemates, tunnels and fortifications dating from 1644.
I am There for a few Days…
Take a drive out to Mullerthal or ‘Little Switzerland’ as it’s locally known and see the forests and streams. Visit the village of Vianden and see its fairytale castle and the museum at Victor Hugo House. Drive the ‘Route de Vin’ from Romica into the Moselle Valley and stop at some of the wineries and go for a tasting.
