Natal Airport in Brief
Augusto Severo International Airport is 18km from the city of Natal, Brazil. It is 15km to the famous beaches at Ponta Negra. The airport was previously known as Parnamirim Airport and was renamed after aviator Augusto Severo de Albuquerque Maranhao.

Can I get to the City Easily?
It is approximately a 25 minute drive into the city - if you have hired a car you will find the car rental offices in arrivals. Car hire is a good option as the taxis there are well known for being expensive. Another option is to take the bus into Natal city, they will collect you from just outside the airport and drop you at the bus station, you can take a bus from here to Ponta Negra if you are staying there.

On the 1st floor you will find a travel agent and a tourist information office, if you have any enquiries about your trip or need to book a hotel. They will also inform you about transport in the area and local attractions. The 2nd floor is the departures area and you can browse the small selection of shops or catch up on emails at the internet kiosk. There you will also find a few cafes and restaurants if you get hungry. The 3rd floor has a café and observation deck, if you want to watch what is happening at the airport. ATMs and a currency exchange desk are available on the 1st and 2nd floors and a VIP Lounge is accessible for a small charge.
