Car Hire Pain – Did you mean Car Hire Spain?

We’ve all done it, searched for something in our favourite search engine and hit ‘go’ only to see a very unexpected set of search results. Wondering what on earth is going on, not until you check your search term does all become clear that you have in fact mis-spelled your search term. Whilst the major search engines are pretty advanced in detecting mis-spellings and returning results that it thinks you intended, not all mis-spellings are recognised and you could indeed find yourself with a very strange set of search results. One of our most searched car rental terms is for car hire in Spain, so it’s little surprise to learn that mis-spellings here are far from uncommon, here we look at some of our most common mis-spellings for customer looking to rent a car in Spain.

Car Hire Pain

A simple mistake to make, merely missing the S from ‘Spain’ if you’re in a rush, or typing from a mobile is likely to return some unexpected results rather than pages relevant for car hire in Spain. Search results for car hire pain could include stories of mis-fuelling a rental car, or cases of what to do if you scratch or dent a rental car where it’s likely that the only pain you’ll experience will be on your credit card!

Car Fire Spain

Whilst F is not immediately next to H on a standard keyboard, it’s only a 2 keys away and slip of the finger, or rushed search could well lead to results for car fire in Spain! Certainly not what you want to be thinking about if planning to rent a car in Spain! Whilst there are many causes of car fires, often down to the electrical systems, smoking in a rental car could well put you at higher risk of a potentially dangerous situation, one of many reasons why you’re not allowed to smoke in a rental car.

Car Hire Spam

Not a million miles away from Spain, only a few mis-placed keystrokes could see you searching for 'car hire spam', which is likely the last thing you want to be reading. You’ll likely see results for ‘car hire scam’ in here too, which could reveal some useful reading on ways to avoid getting ripped off when renting a car. The most frequent customer complaints tend to be around car hire fuel policies, car rental scratches or dent repairs and car hire one way fees, all of which coincidentally are clearly set out and communicated at the quote stage here at Rhino, so no hidden surprises!
