What’s the best snack you’ve ever had from a vending machine? Have you ever been lucky enough to get 2 Lion Bars for the price of one from selection C24, or perhaps put your last £1 into the vending machine only to see the coil spin and your chosen packet of Monster Munch refuse to drop?
A used car salesman in Singapore
has just raised the stakes significantly by unveiling his luxury car vending machine. It’ll come as no surprise to learn that real estate doesn’t come cheap in Singapore and the $3m investment is capable of storing up to 80 cars with the 30 most attractive making the 15 storey glass fronted showroom.
2 rows of 15 cars are offered for sale from the vending machine, where customers can select the car of their choice from the tablet in the luxurious ground floor office. Upon selecting the car you wish to view, you are treated to a short promotional video while the automated lift system whirrs into action and delivers your vehicle to the ground floor to a full view / test drive.
The innovative solution uses just 20% of the floor space required to display the same volume of cars on a single ground level ‘lot’ enabling the business to keep it’s rent to a minimum and maximise the potential from the available site.
