The Bahamas are a very popular holiday destination for Americans and many hire a car at the airport to ease their onward journey to their hotels but also to see the beauty of the islands.

Three times they have been the setting for James Bond films; Thunderball, Never Say Never Again and Casino Royale and it’s great fun trying to spot the locations as you travel around. If you’re there over the Christmas and New Year period, try to catch the famous Junkanoo festival with vivid costumes and cacophonous music.
