Car Hire Shortage Summer 2009

Travel industry experts have warned customers about a number of car hire shortages this summer.
Popular summer holiday destinations such as the Spanish cities of Alicante, Malaga and Murcia are among those which will be hit the hardest.
This is because the global financial crisis has prevented many car hire firms from adding a range of new vehicles to their existing fleets.

Speaking on behalf of car hire website www.rhinocarhire.co.uk, Dennis Justice said: “World wide car hire fleets are looking a little sparse this year. But no matter what happens people will still want to take holidays to prime summer locations such as the Costa Blanca and the Costa Del Sol. The best thing they can be advised to do is to book their vehicles as early as possible.”

But there is also some good news over the summer season. Top car hire firm Budget rent a car is doing a cash and prize giveaway. The global car hire company Budget are giving away 100 prizes, £200 of which are cash prizes bonuses.
