Stansted Airport has many low cost flights making it an excellent alternative to other London airports. Easyjet, Ryanair and Thomson airways all use Stansted and fly to many destinations throughout Europe including Alicante, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Edinburgh, Faro, Fuerteventura, Geneva, Ibiza, Ljubljana, Munich, Naples, Palma de Mallorca, Prague and Tallinn. There are also a large number of charter and cargo flights which leave from London Stansted.
Stansted Airport (airport code STN) is one of a few airports owned by BAA and the Spanish Ferrovial group and is the third busiest airport in the United Kingdom. More than 25 million passengers use Stansted airport annually but there are still further plans to make the airport even bigger.

Airport Car Parking;
There are a huge amount of different parking options which include long and short stay parking as well as valet parking. Despite the higher service you receive with valet parking the prices we offer are very cheap. The closest car park to Stansted international airport is the mid stay parking but there is a free coach to take you to the airport if you have to use long stay parking.

Stansted Airport takes its name from Stansted Mountfitchet which is an Essex village in the District of Uttlesford. Stansted Airport is right next to its own railway station and so this is a very convenient way of getting to the airport. It is also only a 30 minute drive from central London to Stansted Airport with Harlow and Bishop's Stortford also being nearby. You can make the journey on the M11 motorway (the A120 dual carriageway from Harwich and Colchester). Buses and coaches go from hundreds of locations throughout London and other parts of the country.
