Information;
Humberside International is owned by the Manchester Airports Group (MAG) which has just declared they will be running the airport for al least three more years. But this small airport may be struggling somewhat. Passenger numbers decreased last year and they are only at about 400,000 currently making it the 33rd busiest airport in the United Kingdom. This is because Humberside International is surrounded by other popular airports such as Leeds Bradford airport and Robin Hood Doncaster Sheffield Airport. That said Humberside International is popular with various small plane flying clubs as it has a Public Use Aerodrome Licence. Regular flights from Humberside International include routes with Eastern Airlines to Aberdeen, KLM cityhopper to Amsterdam and Flybe to Jersey. There are seasonal flights with Eurocypria airlines to Heraklion and Larnaca, Thomson Airways to Palma de Mallorca and Thomas Cook Airlines to Antalya, Dalaman and Palma de Mallorca.
Airport Car Parking;
The short stay car parking is located just opposite the airport terminal. Pries are very cheap with the first 10 minutes being free, half an hour costing 2 or less and a day worth of parking being under 20. If you prefer not to book in advance it is possible to just turn up and pay, though you should be aware that it works out more expensive to do so. There is plenty of parking available for disabled passengers though they should be able to produce the necessary blue badge.
