Otherwise the neighbourhood of Tottenham is nearby where the Tottenham Hotspurs Football club plies its trade. Walthamstow is mostly known for its old high street market which has been around since 1885. While the market is open five days a week there is a Sunday farmer’s market which is a good place to pick up gifts.
