Camberley is situated in north-west Surrey in England.   London Gatwick airport is approx.39km and London Heathrow approx. 43km from the town.  Cheap car hire Camberley and taxis are readily available at the airports.  The nearest ferry port is Portsmouth which is approx.103km.  The town has good connections to the M3 and M4 motorways.  Camberley railway station is sited on the Ascot to Guildford line.  During weekdays and peak periods a few trains each day continue beyond Ascot to London Waterloo.

The town evolved in the 19th century around the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst which can be found just north of the A30.  The Staffhurst College museum has a great collection of weapons and uniforms.  The village of Bisley, which is to the west of Camberley, is renowned for the UK’s National Rifle Championships.  All areas are easily accessible with Car Hire Camberley including taking a trip to the theatre and  new Arena Leisure Centre.  There is also a variety of restaurants, pubs and clubs.  For bargain hunters the Blackbushe market is held every Sunday at Blackbushe Airport, Blackwater and hundreds of stalls are to be found there.  Blackwater is only approx.5km from the town.
Camberley is a good base to tour the area.  Car Rental Camberley is an excellent option to visit the many historic towns and leisure pursuits.  Ascot, Windsor and Eton are all within a 20km radius.  The town of Frimley is nearby and there you will find the beautiful Lakeside Country Park.  The Quayside Watersports centre is close by and water-skiing and windsurfing is taught there.  Central London itself, with all its pageantry, West End Shows and historic buildings, is only approx.51km.
