Las Vegas Circus Circus Mini Guide
Where is the Circus Circus Hotel and Casino?
You’ll find this MGM hotel and casino at 2880 Las Vegas Boulevard South in Las Vegas.
How do I get to the Circus Circus?
You’ll probably fly into McCarran International Airport, five miles from ‘The Strip’, and get a taxi from the airport. Some people hire a car for the experience of driving down the boulevard gawping at the stunning hotels that line its length. You can also get a bus from the airport, but if you’re staying at a top hotel, why not arrive in style?
What is the Circus Circus Like?
As you may have guessed from the name, all the entertainment and the hotel’s décor is centred around the theme of circuses and carnivals. The hotel is home to the largest ‘Big Top’ in the world and the circus operates twice a day as well as having regular processions through the grounds a la carnival. The hotel is famed for its large clown display board at the front of the hotel and for its wedding chapel that continues the theme of circus and carnival.
Beyond the world class circus acts that perform there you’ve also got Adventuredome, an indoor theme park with exciting rides and experiences for young and old and the more sedate Chuck Jones Experience which details the work of the animator, most famous for Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. Dining is superb in the hotel with a wide range of restaurants, cafes, bars and snack bars. Shopping there is also great and unlike other strip hotels isn’t limited to couture. There’s much more for the standard wallet to shop for in the 40,000 square foot shopping promenade and you’re sure to pick up something to remind you of your stay from the hotel gift shop.
