Colorado Springs is the second largest city in the State of Colorado. This great city has some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in the world and it is not just there to observe, as you will see people scaling the heights of its mountain ranges.
You will gaze in awe at the stunning scenery which surrounds the city. Garden of the Gods, a series of magnificent sandstone formations, which is enclosed by a city park. Fantastic for rock climbers and hikers alike and is free. Ten miles west is Pikes Peak, which is Colorado’s most famous peak and can be accessed either by, walking, driving or by Cog Rail. Any of these will give you an experience of a lifetime. White-water Rafting on the Arkansas River is an exciting day out but not for the faint of heart.
The city centre has much to offer visitors, from the ultimate shopping experience, to eating at one of its many fine dining restaurants. There is a buzz about town, when the sun goes down and offers a vibrant nightlife. Or just relax with a glass of wine, while taking in the breathtaking surroundings.
