Another great experience is the underwater sea trek adventure from there where you can walk with air filled helmets along an underwater course off the beach. Led by a guide you’ll see iridescent fishes, beautiful coral and natural sponges living in the clear water.
Montego Bay Mini Guide
Having around 100,000 inhabitants, Montego Bay is known as the 'friendly city'. The typically laid back and pleasant locals are very generous, offering fruit when you are on the fabulous beach.

Take a break from sightseeing, park up your hire car and head for Pier 1 which is located on the waterfront. The incredible seafood restaurant has an ace up its sleeve. Not only does it provide typically mouth watering food but in the late afternoon it is the prime location for the beautiful sunset.
Try the Caliche River Rafting Tours which run on the Great River. There are white water rapids and if you can keep the water out of your eyes the views are incredible. The river runs through the rainforest and there are a few breaks to stop, catch your breath and take advantage of the fantastic photograph opportunities.

If tranquility and relaxation is your preference then a great option is to visit Dr Cave Bathing Club. The physician very kindly donated his beach house to the public. You need to climb through the foliage to the hidden lagoon.
Bask in the crystal clear waters and you can bathe in the warm sun. You would never believe it was destroyed by a hurricane in 1932. It's still hugely popular for tourists and locals alike.
