Torviscas Mini Guide
Torviscas is located on the island of Tenerife. This is a popular Canary Islands resort which is situated on the Adeje Coast in the south. With car hire Torviscas you can make the short journey between Tenerife South airport and Torviscas. It comes under the Playa de las Americas umbrella but is a much quieter area. It has a very good golden sandy beach with showers, parasols and sun loungers. A number of bars and snack outlets are also on the beach. That means you can spend a pleasant day here and use car hire Torviscas to leave once you have had your fill of the beach.
There is plenty else to do. For bargain hunters the Torviscas market operates every Thursday and Saturday from 10am. The Puerto Harbour is also close by. It runs boat trips to see dolphins and whales in their natural habitat are available at the marine as are a wealth of water sports. But the harbour is also a good place to eat. Shellfish-based dishes are one of the favourites here but if you don't like there is also a good selection of chicken-based dishes. The Sky Park and the Aquapark Octupus are also in this area which are good distractions if you are trying to entertain children or the day.
Once the night rolls around there are many restaurants, night clubs and terraces to keep you occupied until the wee hours. The renowned San Eugenio Commercial Centre is also in this area and a great number of shops, bars and restaurants can be found there. A five mile beach front promenade links the beaches along the Costa Adeje.
